Peter Matra is currently updating his website. It's a lot of work but will be fantastic when it is done!
The Internet changes so rapidly it is hard to keep up with the new trends. Technology and ideas emerge every day and are viewable around the world in an instant. Social media has had one of the biggest impacts on society today.
So what is really happening with my site? I took the old one down and decided to rebuild the entire site from the ground up. One of my objectives was to remove all Adobe Flash elements from my site. Adobe Flash is not supported on mobile platforms and is being phased out of certain existing products and sites.
I needed to push the website into the 21st century where blogging and social media play an important role. I no longer wanted to create static pages of image galleries. I no longer wanted something for the visitors to view but to also read and comprehend. I wanted to include little anecdotes and information that accompany my photos. This is no longer a 'gallery only' site.
Enjoy the new site. It is slowly evolving and growing as I try to work out the kinks.
